This multi-story split level wood framed dormitory is built into an embankment along a four-lane highway with load bearing cast-in-place concrete retaining walls. The building is typically comprised of four levels of wood framing (wood studs and manufactured wood trusses) with one wing of the building positioned above an additional wood trussed floor that is supported by load bearing concrete masonry walls.  This 410 bed dormitory building includes apartments that have two double occupancy bedrooms with bathrooms that share a common living room, kitchen and dining area. There are also single and double occupancy suites with bathrooms, living rooms and kitchenettes. The building also includes a fitness center, student lounges, and study areas.
