As part of its annual condition assessment of Fayetteville PWC’s water storage facilities, Fleming & Associates identified the need for coating rehabilitation of the 1-million-gallon Clinton Road Elevated Water Storage Tank. The project was designed to extend the service life of the facility and included surface preparation and recoating of all exterior surfaces and interior dry areas, structural repairs and localized coating repairs within the interior wet area, and installation of supplemental vent screens.
Fleming & Associates provided comprehensive design, bidding, and construction administration services for the project. Through careful evaluation and modification of the specified coating system, Fleming & Associates helped achieve a successful rebid within PWC’s established budget while maintaining all bid alternates. The completed rehabilitation provides PWC with a renewed protective coating system and continued service life for this critical water storage facility.
