The detention center contains inmate housing units, initial housing, and special management housing to provide 568 inmate beds in addition to the  associated support requirements to include medical and infirmary, food services, laundry, warehouse, offices, magistrates offices and courtrooms, intake and booking,  mechanical, and administration.  The support facilities were designed to support a future expansion.  The housing units are constructed of load-bearing cmu walls supporting a cast-in-place concrete mezzanine and cmu cells.  The administration building is constructed of structural steel columns and a composite steel second floor.  The roof structure includes steel joists with metal deck, precast hollow core slabs, precast flat slabs, and precast double tee's over the vehicle sallyport.
